Upon graduating a degree majoring in Translation & Interpretation and minor in Management from University Science Malaysia (USM) in 1994, Salzainna had started her career as a Training Supervisor in one of Malaysia Board KLSE namely Globetronics Sdn Bhd. In the midst of working, she pursued her studies in Master of Business Administration (MBA) in University Science Malaysia and graduated in 2004.

Her logistic career started on in 2001 when she joined Penang Port Sdn Bhd as a Executive to Chief Officer Office. She then was given a new portfolio as Marketing Executive. Due to her excellence and commitment to her job, she was promoted to Senior Manager post in 2006 until current. Penang Port is the 3rd largest Port in Malaysia handling for conventional and containerized cargo for Malaysia and South Thailand.

She is a committee member of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturer. She also sits on the Halal Logistics and Supply Chain Board in Penang.

In continuous serving for the community and Logistics Industry as a whole, she imparts her knowledge and experience towards the future generation of Logisticians thru being a Lecturer In University College of Tunku Abdul Rahman in Kuala Lumpur recently and formerly Sedaya College in Penang.

Salzainna had been elected as an Associate of The Society of Logisticians, Malaysia which carries the designation of Associate Logistician.
